Gena and his co-worker have done a great and clean job for renewing our ~20 years old roof. Gena suggestions were professional and honest and we are very satisfied by the end result. They were ontime and respectful. In Vancouver roof is the most important part of house and a good point of Nika roofing is that they are listed as certified contractor in Malarkey website ( the most famous shingle producer in north America) so we have ease of mind for our shingle and roof warranty for the next decade or so.
Gena, President of NIKA Roofing came within two hours of my calling him about roof leaks we had in our asphalt shingles. Rain water came in slowly and formed paint bubbles in a 8x8’ square in our living area. Gena thoroughly checked out possibilities, went up on the roof, found the problem, removed about 10 shingles, inserted 10... 8x8” tin plates, used tar and replaced the shingles. This took 3-4 hours for a reasonable charge. He had an assistant. He was professional and courteous and worked in a safe manner. I highly recommend Gena and his company, NIKA Roofing. I never heard of NIKA Roofing before I found them on the Internet. I never knew Gena before this 1st encounter. I waited 1& 1/2 months before writing this report because I wanted to make sure no more water was getting through the roofing. This was a first rate job. Gena was not out to sell a bigger job. He tries to give value for his work. He succeeded!
